## POST-MATCH IN-RING INTERVIEWS BY JOE ROGAN
(The SkyDome is still vibrating in the aftermath of a massive ovation. Hulk Hogan is slowly sitting up, staring at the canopy while 68,000 fans chant his name. In the center of the ring, a completely bald, hyper-focused Rock stands with his arms crossed. Joe Rogan steps through the ropes, microphone in hand.)
### PART I: THE ROCK (THE VICTOR)
JOE ROGAN: “Rock! Rock! What an absolute masterpiece of a match, man! In the opening minutes, Hogan caught you with that massive throw and the leg drop. We could see it from the deskβyou were completely dazed, your legs were wobbling. Walk us through the high-level calculation you made to survive that sequence.”
THE ROCK: (Breathing heavily, his newly shaven head glistening under the stadium lights, his voice calm, cold, and entirely serious) > “Joe, when 500 pounds of athletic history drops across your throat, it doesn’t matter who you areβyour vision goes black. The Rock was hurt. The Rock was wobbly. My equilibrium was completely shattered.
But you see, Joe, thatβs where the elite separate themselves from the rookies. A young punk like Randy Orton gets hit with that, his ego takes over, he runs back into the fire, and he gets burned to a crisp. But The Rock understands the flow of energy in this ring. I knew I had to check my ego, back off, pull the referee between us, and lean on the ropes. I had to let my internal battery reset. I had to manage my pacing flawlessly because if you give Hulk Hogan a single inch when he has this Toronto crowd behind him, he will swallow you alive.”
JOE ROGAN: “The analysts are completely losing their minds over the finish. Usually, a match of this magnitude sees guys kicking out of three, four, five finishers. But you managed to put the Immortal away with a single sequence. Was that a deliberate tactical decision to prevent him from ‘Hulk-ing up’?”
THE ROCK: (Nods slowly, looking down at Hogan with immense respect) > “It was the only way to win, Joe. If The Rock hits a Rock Bottom and covers him, what happens? The crowd starts screaming, Hogan gets that look in his eye, the fingers start pointing, and suddenly his spirit overrides his physical limits. You cannot let a deity activate his secondary health bar.
So The Rock saved every ounce of physical capital for the final minute. I didn’t give him a chance to breathe between the moves. I hit the Spinebuster to lock him to the canvas, immediately hauled his mass up for the Rock Bottom to crush his spine, and before his brain could register the impact, The Rock hit the ropes and delivered the People’s Elbow. No gaps. No recovery windows. Pure, continuous kinetic termination. I respect Hulk Hogan with every fiber of my being, but tonight, Toronto belongs to The Great One.”
### PART II: HULK HOGAN (THE DEFEATED)
(Rogan turns toward the corner where Hogan has finally made it to his feet, adjusting his red and yellow knee pads. The crowd lets out a massive cheer as Rogan approaches the legend.)
JOE ROGAN: “Hulk, an unbelievable effort tonight on the grandest stage of them all. You had him completely dead to rights early on with that legendary throw and the Atomic Leg Drop. Did you feel like you had the match won right there?”
HULK HOGAN: (Wipes sweat from his mustache, his eyes reflecting the raw emotion of the arena) > “Well, let me tell you something, Joe Rogan! When I dropped that leg, brother, I felt the entire SkyDome lift off the ground! I knew I hit him clean. I saw his eyes roll back, and I knew the millions and millions of Hulkamaniacs in Toronto were ready to see the hand raised!
But Rocky… man, that kid is a tactical genius, brother. I wanted to march forward and finish the job, but he kept his distance. He used the corners, he used the referee, he slowed down the tempo of the entire match just enough to clear the fog out of his head. He didn’t let me build on my momentum. He fought like a true, calculated champion tonight, Joe.”
JOE ROGAN: “The crowd was completely screaming for the comeback at the end, but he stacked his three biggest moves back-to-back without giving you a single second to build up that adrenaline. Did his finishing combination completely catch you off guard?”
HULK HOGAN: (Nods, patting his ribs) > “Brother, I was just waiting for that spark. I could hear the fans, I felt the power starting to course through my veins, and I was ready to start shaking my head and firing back! But he didn’t give me the window.
The moment that Spinebuster hit, he was already rolling me over into the Rock Bottom. And before my lungs could even take in air to shout, the elbow came crashing down. It was a flawless execution of a finishing matrix, brother. He knew exactly how to lock down my power before it could manifest. Hulkamaniacs might have fallen short tonight, but losing to a man with that level of ring IQ and athletic perfection? There’s no shame in it. The Rock is the real deal.”
