Matt Hardy tagged in hot, executing a desperate Twist of Fate on Angle that nearly secured the upset, but Lashley broke up the pin at the last possible millisecond. Ultimately, Angle capitalized on the chaos, catching Jeff’s leg on a subsequent aerial attempt and twisting seamlessly into the Ankle Lock.
