## POST-MATCH IN-RING INTERVIEWS BY JOE ROGAN
(Joe Rogan enters the ring with the WFC microphone. The air inside the SkyDome is heavy with the smell of sweat and canvas dust. Medical trainers are currently attending to Bob Sapp, who is slowly regaining consciousness near the ropes. Rogan approaches the victorious, heavily breathing champion.)
### PART I: VADER (THE REIGNING UFC CHAMPION)
JOE ROGAN: “I am here with the reigning, defending UFC Heavyweight Champion… VADER! Vader, that was an absolute car crash of a fight, man! He caught you flush with the knees on the Vader Bomb. It looked like your ribs were heavily compromised. Walk us through how you survived that counter and found the power to turn it into a stoppage.”
VADER: (Pulls off his signature red mask, his face drenched in sweat, gasping for air with intense, terrifying energy) > “He hit my ribs?! Joe, look at me! I am the Mastodon! I have taken hits from cars, I have fought the baddest men in Japan, I took the Undisputed Title from Hulk Hogan! Bob Sapp thinks a pair of knees is enough to stop Vader time?!
He is 350 pounds of muscle, but he doesn’t have the soul of a killer yet! When my ribs cracked, it didn’t make me want to quitβit made me want to destroy him! I felt the blood rushing to my eyes, and I just started throwing heavy leather! If the referee didn’t stop it after that Powerbomb, I would have torn this ring apart! The UFC belt stays right here on the biggest, baddest man in the WFC!”
### PART II: BOB SAPP (THE DEFEATED)
(Rogan walks across the ring to the opposite corner. Bob Sapp is sitting up against the bottom turnbuckle, staring blankly at the canvas while his cornermen press an ice pack to the back of his neck. He looks completely humbled.)
JOE ROGAN: “Bob, a very tough, physical outcome tonight. You had the perfect strategy countering the Vader Bomb with your knees. For a second, the entire SkyDome thought you had him. What happened in those immediate seconds after you landed that counter?”
BOB SAPP: (Speaks in a low, exhausted rumble, shaking his head in disbelief) > “Joe… I hit him with everything. When I got my knees up, I felt his weight crush down, and I heard the wind leave his lungs. I thought, ‘This is it. The streak continues. Iβm the champion.’ But that man… he isn’t human, Joe.
Most men drop when their ribs are broken. Vader didn’t drop. He got mad. Those fists… it felt like getting hit with concrete blocks. My vision went completely blurry after the third right hand. By the time he grabbed me for that Powerbomb, my legs were completely gone. I didn’t think he had the leverage to lift me after the rib damage, but he hoisted me like I was a lightweight. My hats off to him. I thought I was ready for the top tier, but the old man showed me there are levels to this heavyweight game. Iβve got to go back to the gym and rebuild.”
