[[ PRE-MATCH BROADCAST PANIC: THE HANGOVER METRIC ]]
The backstage tracking ledger was thrown into absolute gridlock hours before showtime. The scheduled Main Event for the Staples Center was supposed to be a massive marquee dream: Ken Masters vs. “The Jet” Benny Urquidez.
Instead, a completely embarrassed Ken Masters had to formally apologize to the master who originally influenced him into the world of karate and full-contact kickboxing. Ken was completely, entirely hungover from an aggressive night of partying on the sunset strip, rendering his frame mechanics totally unusable for high-velocity combat.
With the television schedule bleeding out, a panicked Vince McMahon did what he always does—he grabbed the first massive physical asset he could find in the hallway: Kane.
[[ RINGSIDE BROADCAST ROUNDTABLE ]]
(The cameras pan across the Staples Center as the ominous, dark organ music hits. Kane slowly marches down the ramp, fire exploding from the ring posts, while 49-year-old Benny Urquidez stands in the corner, looking up at a mountain of mass.)
JIM ROSS: “Folks, I am disgusted by what we are witnessing. This was supposed to be a glorious, respectful farewell match for a true pioneer of full-contact martial arts. Instead, because Ken Masters couldn’t keep his personal life in order, Vince McMahon has effectively ordered a public execution for ‘The Jet’ by throwing him in there with a seven-foot monster!”
JOE ROGAN: “JR, I am literally sick to my stomach watching this right now. This is a complete joke, man! The Jet is forty-nine years old! He is a lightweight and middleweight legend giving up over a hundred and fifty pounds to a supernatural freak! His frame data cannot handle a direct power scrum with Kane. This isn’t a sport tonight, this is a human sacrifice to protect TV ratings!”

MATCH RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars — Incredible Frame-Counter Drama)
[THE BIG RED MACHINE] Kane
def.
[THE KICKBOXING ICON] "THE JET" BENNY URQUIDEZ (49 Years Old)
FINISH: 09:14 — Chokeslam (Third Attempt, Pinfall)
STATUS: 👹 Kane secures a high-mass victory heading into No Way Out.
STATUS: 👑 The Jet loses the farewell match but completely shatters the age-decline algorithm!
The Battle of the Frame Traps:
Every single analyst at the table was proven completely wrong. The Jet didn’t just survive; the 49-year-old icon proved his legendary combat metrics are timeless. Urquidez utilized dazzling, lightning-fast leg kicks and switching-stance footwork to chop at Kane’s structural foundation, inflicting genuine, visible pain on the monster.
The drama reached a fever pitch during Kane’s offensive power sequences. Twice, Kane wrapped his massive gloved hand around The Jet’s throat for the definitive execution—and twice, The Jet brilliantly countered the Chokeslam mid-air, using lightning wrist-locks and gravity shifts to escape. But ultimately, the pure mass differential was an unyielding wall. The Jet’s smaller frame simply lacked the raw concussive punching power to completely KO the Big Red Machine. On the third attempt at the 9-minute mark, Kane caught a fading Jet out of a spinning back-kick trajectory and delivered a thunderous, definitive Chokeslam to end the classic.
Despite the loss, the Los Angeles crowd gave the hometown legend a massive ovation as he bid farewell to the WFC canvas.
[[ THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE: THE GAME’S ENTRANCE ]]
(Kane stands over the broken martial arts pioneer, his arms raised to drop the ring-post fire. Suddenly, “The Game” audio cue shatters the arena! Triple H steps out onto the entrance stage, wearing his classic leather jacket, holding a microphone. He looks down at Kane with complete, condescending arrogance.)
TRIPLE H: > “Look at you, Kane! Look at the big, scary monster celebrating in the middle of my ring! You beat a forty-nine-year-old lightweight martial artist and you think you’re ready for the big game?
Ever since I dumped your ass over the top rope at the Royal Rumble, I’ve been watching your tracking data. And what do I see? You’re out here padding your record against smaller frames! First you fight Royce Gracie, now you fight The Jet… you love picking on the little guys, don’t you?
But you and I both know why you’re really angry, don’t we? You’re throwing tantrums because you know what happens when you step inside the ring with elite heavyweight iron like me. You’re still mad about what happened to your little buddy X-Pac, aren’t you? You’re still crying because after X-Pac completely stole your girlfriend right out from under your ugly face, you had to put him in the hospital just to feel like a man!
Well, Kane… at No Way Out, there are no cruiserweights to save you. Keep looking at the stage, boy, because The Game is just getting started!”
